![]() "Show preview handlers in preview pane" IS checked. "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is NOT checked. I have tried resetting ALL of the View settings under Folder Options. I see other people posting similar questions, and have tried all solutions suggested under each. On my other Windows 8.1 system, I can preview MS Office documents, text files, PDFs, movies & music (and get control buttons for playing). no "No Preview Available" message or anything. I noticed that the Preview Pane in any File Explorer window is not working for anything but pictures. I have a new Windows 8.1 Pro PC and, after installing some software such as Office 2013 on it.
